Front-End Web Developer
We’re looking for a front-end web developer to join us in Madison, WI. You will be responsible for building, testing and troubleshooting clean, web standards compliant code. To do that, we’d need you to:
- have at least 3 years professional experience in front-end web development
- have excellent user interaction instincts and ability to respond promptly to user feedback.
- be very design conscious and attentive to detail.
- have strong time management and analytical/problem solving abilities.
- have expert knowledge of integrating and customising CMS platforms (Expression Engine, Textpattern, Drupal, Magento and WordPress)
- have expert knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery)
- be able to quickly translate UI concepts and wireframes into flexible and usable HTML prototypes
- be proficient in Adobe Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- have strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome etc.)
- understand PHP and Ruby.
- have knowledge of SEO best practices
- have excellent communication skills
Experience in information architecture and UI design is a bonus.
